Once upon a time...
tucked away in a sweet Sydney suburb, lived a very lonely and neglected -
Help! |
little shop!
As luck would have it, the lovely Connie chanced upon said shop and, even luckier for me, I was given the opportunity to help transform the space into her new design studio - how I love my job!
We decided upon, as you may have already guessed, a bird theme using back and white and yellow as our colour scheme. We also incorporated vintage finds including a most excellent mirror that Connie had found on the side of the road.
The result is -
Black and white set the background to a bird themed centre piece and yellow highlights |
a fresh -
Lots of paper birds and recycled medicine vials set amongst white spray painted branches |
contemporary -
Simple white shelves and a collection of frames transform another wall within the space |
space -
More birds and some of Connie's gorgeous rings |
from which Connie now works and sells her beautiful handmade jewellery.
Our favourite piece! |
And, with that, it's bye bye birdie for now!
May your weekend be chirpy,
Stephie x
