Some...
Now I know that foxes are considered a feral animal here in Australia but I think that they are kind of cute, especially their bushy tails. Sooo...
as a salute to said cuteness, I have put together a selection of "foxy" goodness for you!
Top Row: Fox Masks, Fox Bandit Print, Foxy Scarf (love it!), very cute fox Puppet
Middle Row: Pulling the Strings Print, Sky Pack Print, Arctic Foxen Plush (very cool)
Bottom Row: very cute Fox Eraser Set, Fox Pocket Mirror, gorgeous Foxy Fabric
and off to the side, the most amazing wallpaper from here. I really need to find a spare wall at my place for this!
Hope your weekend is fabulous,
Stephie x
PS Yes I do have a fox at my place. You can find it in my Flickr "Around Our Home" Set in the sidebar :)

A Springtime Celebration!
A few weeks back I organised a small afternoon tea to celebrate a seventieth birthday. The weather was beautiful and bunting, fresh flowers, cupcakes and tea were the order of the day. Here are a few shots I've put together -
Very pretty, pink and girlie - just the way an afternoon tea should be!
I also made a small album -
as a keepsake for the guest of honour. She was tickled pink to receive it which made me very happy!
Hope your Wednesday has been pink and pretty,
Stephie x

Hello....
and happy Monday!
You may remember a couple of weeks back I mentioned the lovely Kerry both here and also here. To celebrate the second birthday of her blog, Kerry is giving away one of her gorgeous prints. All you have to do is go to her shop and leave a comment as to which print you would like to win - too easy!
As you would already know, I am pretty smitten with the bears but this fox -
is pretty darn cute too!
The winner will be selected randomly on Friday so get commenting! Fingers crossed!
See you on Wednesday with a little party post,
Stephie x

Very moreish, don't you think? You can check it out via the Sweet Paul site here.
And now some music for your listening pleasure -
This is one of my most favourite songs for this year by a pretty amazing band. The clip is pretty cute too - enjoy!
I will be seeing the latest Harry Potter Movie over a glass of bubbles this weekend. I hope your weekend is a little bit magical too,

Just reminding you all that I have two lovely markets coming up in December. The first one is Mathilda's Market at Lane Cove on Sunday, December 5th, followed by Kirribilli Art and Design Market on Sunday, December 12th.
Both are such a lot of fun, I hope you can make it to one (or both!) of them! There are more details over in the sidebar if you want to have a look.

StephieB is bought to you this week by...
the letter "M"!
"M" is for Monday and for " Magnolia Square" which is where I visited yesterday with friends.
Held a couple of times a year in Sydney, Magnolia Square is a "pop up" shopping concept which brings together artisans and designers from across the country and puts them all under one roof for your shopping pleasure. As you can see from the images above, everything is truly beautiful. It really is a slice of retail heaven!
You can go to their site to get more details and next year's dates
( next year already?!).
We had such a great day and bought home some lovely goodies. My good friend Lise even won the raffle - how exciting!
Hugs to you,
Stephie x

This week....

First up on the homefront, my latest "owly" acquisition -
Imagine my excitement when I spotted this at the entrance to one of my favourite sourcing destinations. I could hardly contain myself!
Isn't he fantastic? He looks good with or without flowers and I'm thinking that he would look great incorporated into a Christmas display. At $20.00, he is a truly wonderful find - WOO!HOO!
Stayed tuned for Wednesday's "Owly Shopping Guide".
Happy, happy Monday to you!

As of this weekend....
There are only seven weeks left until Christmas. Yikes!
If you are anything like me, the thought of having to venture out into the land of the shopping centre, fighting the crowds and scrambling for a parking space is a major source of angst, causing many a sleepless night just thinking about it.
FEAR NOT! This week the wonderful Ez of Creature Comforts has launched Gifted. This is a truly beautiful online publication not only full of Christmas decorating inspiration and special freebies but it also includes a "Mega Gift Guide" - very handy!
Just some of the loveliness waiting inside -
So what are you waiting for? It's time to start shopping!
Hope your weekend is wonderful,
Stephie x

Exquisite!
Image via here |
In case you are not familiar with the book, it is a modified version of the game Exquisite Corpse . Played by one hundred (ten groups of ten) designers, illustrators and artists, the first artist was given a few words to get them started with their drawing. All of the artists following saw only the drawing that was immediately before their own. This way, their drawing continued the story and also provided the inspiration for the artist immediately following them.
You can get the idea of how it works via here -
The Exquisite Book from ALSO on Vimeo.
Now back to the giveaway! You need to leave a comment on Ellie's blog by next Tuesday, November 9th and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, November 10th.
Of course I'll wish you luck but you know that I really hope that it's me who wins!

Yippee!
I know that I don't usually post on a Tuesday but I am so excited that I just had to share!
Today my blog was given a mention over at Kerry's lovely blog, seventy tree. This is the first time that this has happened to me and I am thrilled to bits. Kerry's blog is so beautiful and, with regular posts, there is always something new to read about when you visit. So what are you waiting for? Jump on over and take a look!
And if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, I also won $25.00 in our Melbourne Cup Sweep. Good horsie!
Happy Tuesday to you

And they're off...
"Lucky Horse Shoes" avaiable from PickyPickyShop |
Here in Australia, the first Tuesday in November is Melbourne Cup Day so in honour of "The Race That Stops A Nation", I thought I'd do a little Etsy post about things equine!
First up some interesting options on the decorating front -
Available from here |
Vintage Horse Show Ribbons. Attached to the corner of a picture frame (as shown above), as a stand alone piece or a few grouped together, they make for an interesting visual display and a cool talking point.
Or how about some prints -
These are sooo lovely and are two for the price of one until November 15th. Great for a kids' space don't you think?! Available from WildLifePrints
If you don't want to put things on your walls, how about this cute plushie
or a chalkboard horse
I sooo want some of these!
If equine decorating is not your thing then how about something wearable like a badge
or maybe a ring is your thing -
The choice is yours!
Stephie x
PS Did you guess which bear belongs to me? It's -
Greta! Here she is at my place - she is so sweet!
