    Hello Stephie:
    Flags, in the ways in which you show them here, are most certainly great fun.

    We are less sure when they are adopted for military or nationalistic purposes, the two often going hand in hand.

    I hadn't thought of that Jane and Lance but you are right - some flags make my blood run cold. It's funny how they become symbols of things sinister.
