Pink Drinks!
A couple of weeks ago, I organised for a few close friends to come to my place to toast the New Year. It had been a while "between drinks" for us and I thought it would be nice to catch up with each other properly.
We have an old Ikea TV trolley which I set up as a drink station. I covered the shelves in some pretty pink wrapping paper and added some large cardboard hearts to the sides. I used a beautiful glass basket that I had picked up in my travels a few years back, filled it with hydrangea from the garden and made a "Happy New Year" tag. Finally I added some thrifted pink wine glasses (these are so pretty and had never been used) and some flowery napkins and my mobile bar was ready to go!
Happy Monday to you,
Stephie x

Pink cupcakes, bubbles and friends - quite a civilised way to spend an evening!

Those pink glasses are just gorgeous, I've been eyeing some similar ones in Next recently. Hydrangea are my favourite flowers too, but I can't get hold of any around here at the moment :( x
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea... champagne and cupcakes in pink glasse... uau!
ReplyDeleteThe pink glasses really were a good find. I couldn't believe that they had never been used! Miss BB I really think that you should invest in some!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Mari, cupcakes and champagne in pink glasses is a great idea!
Good to hear from you both and I hope you are having a rosy week,
Stephie x
Stephie, I love this! Wish I'd been one of the guests!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kerry. Whenever you are in Sydney, you are more than welcome! Stephie x
ReplyDeleteI love the pink wine glasses, and the drink station!
ReplyDeletethe "live what you love" is such a beautiful reminder. i think i saw that once on a bracelet and still kick myself for not having bought it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Victoria - I love my pink glasses too. They are just the right shade of pink I think!
ReplyDeleteHi Kimia, what a shame about the bracelet. There's nothing worse than not getting something when you see it and then regretting it! Maybe you could find someone via Etsy or similar that could make you one - you never know maybe you were meant to see this and get one now!
It's good to hear from you both,
Stephie x
