Whimsical wallpapers....

"Christopher"

for you -

"Aleister Crowley"

on a -

"Cattle Kate"

Wednesday!

I have been an admirer of the "Grow House Grow!" wallpapers for a little while now and I love that Katie has just released her 2011 "Time Line" collection -

"Hotel Fantome"

"Ode to the Unhasty"

"Chochin"

What I love even more is that each design has a story behind it, my favourite being "Ms Ward" -

a tribute to a rather wonderful woman with a passion for science.

The thing that I love most of all though is that I have just ordered some samples for my place -

"Captain Smith"

so watch this space!

Even if wallpapering a wall really isn't your thing, the samples are a good size and would look rather lovely when framed- so maybe you could set up your own little gallery?!

Hope your Wednesday is wonderful,
Stephie x

  1. Hello Stephie:
Usually wallpaper, on a wall that is, is not our choice of wallcovering either but these are truly wonderful. 'Ms Ward' would be a favourite with us too! And, as you say, a whole series of framed samples could look very effective indeed. What a splendid idea!

Thank you for the kind comment left on our previous post to which we have made a general reply.

  2. It is so good to have you back Jane and Lance and to read your exciting news - I can't wait to see how things pan out for you! Glad you like the wallpapers - I never thought I would be a fan either but I am truly smitten with these.

Hugs to you on this sunny Sydney Wednesday, Stephie x

  5. Hi Stephie, I love wallpaper patterns of late, tehya re so graphic and eye-catching. I am a bit nervous of using any in my home though incase i don't like it as much as i'd hoped and ahve to take it all down. I tend to ahve white or very pale walls at home and then add shots of colour with cushions and throws. That way I can change things aroudn when I feel the urge to. thanks for your lovely comment on my blog post about being age-appropriate. I think style is so individual and that women should celebrate their beauty and their age in their own way. I look at pictures of yself and think I look better now thatn I did 20 years ago because I'm more settled with myself. It's not an age thing, it's an attitude thing! Big hugs, Em xx
