Because...
"Some fungus for you” doesn't have quite the same ring to it, here are"Some flowers for you” on a Friday but with a bit of a "mushroomy" twist!
First up, some arrangements by Small Stump and Studio Choo -
who have cleverly combined timber offcuts, moss and mushrooms to create these amazing centrepieces -
Such a gorgeous display!
Now for something a little more dramatic -

and then something that lets people like me who don't cook put their cake tins to good use -

Finally, and this is my favourite, some simple spring blooms -

that mushroom in the centre is just too sweet!
Wishing you a weekend that's full of magic,
Stephie x
Giveaway update: As I have had to fit in with my assistant's busy schedule - it's great when an eight year old has a better social life than you! - the draw will be on Sunday and I will announce the lucky winner on Monday. See you then!

Hi Stephie:
ReplyDeleteI love all mushrooms specially centrepieces.
I like the fungus as accesories but not to eat. My mother ate today.
Have a nice weekend
A lot of hugs
Hi Stephie, have a nice
ReplyDeleteweekend! I like shitake,
have you tasted it yet?
:-)
And what about the gnomes? They love the mushrooms, and make their homes there.
I'm with you Amber Lee and Tracy, I love that bouquet and that cute little mushroom - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteJulie, you make me laugh! I wish that I had thought of the "FUN GUYS" line - I would have used it in my post!
Hi Kena - I am so glad that there is somebody else out there who doesn't eat mushrooms. I was beginning to think that I was alone! Your mother can have all the mushrooms to herself - YUK!
I haven't tried shitake - I don't know Mari - I think I will leave them for the gnomes! Have you caught up with Norma yet?
Have a fantastic weekend everyone and talk soon, Stephie x
